Part of the American solution has been the creation of a movement called “Project Renewment” and this is now coming to Project Renewment is - A process and a forum to assist women to discuss and plan for the next chapter of their lives. A movement involving a community of women’s groups. A book of 38 stories on topics that are important to consider. To encourage Australian career women to start some Project Renewment groups here, the American authors, Helen Dennis & Bernice Bratter will be conducting a free, live web broadcast. It will be held on Tuesday July 21 at lunchtime, between Interested women need to register & then they will be provided with information on how to view the free web broadcast. Women In Retirement
I know we've (men) been retiring for years, but a lot of guys I know find the drastic change from full time work one day to nothing the next quite a daunting prospect. If there is any help, we/they might like to know about it as well.
Some of us are lucky to have found an interest, either through our PCs, hobbies or by joining a club of some sort, a lot of others are less fortunate due to one reason or another.
